Prashant Salvi
Founder and Director of Alaap Entertainment & Events
Passionate about music and events from childhood, Prashant started his musical journey very early. He has learnt tabla for 2 years from his guru Pt. Vijay Jawale. Was always active in the church choir and was a part of the music team and regularly played Tabla, Congo, Bongo.
As an employee of TATA Motors, Prashant managed and organised many musical theme shows, Dramas, Theatre acts for the in-house cultural wing, namely Kalasagar.
He also has credit of writing songs for 3 dramas in regional language besides being awarded for his skills of organising musical theme shows and concerts.
He has been organising / conducting and also performing various concerts with celebrities for over a decade now in Pune, Mumbai and all over Maharashtra.
He is a well known for his singing skills and specially has created a identity as ‘Voice of RD’. Has performed with many Bollywood music industry celebrities namely, Music Director duo, Ajay Atul, Hridhaynath Mangeshkar ji, Bappi Lahiri, Pyarelal ji, Suresh Wadkar, Sudesh Bhosale, Bela Shende, Ketaki Mategaonkar and Nitin Shankar.
Prashant also has to his credit his professional chorus group ‘Swaralaap’ and his latest venture ‘Alaap Music Academy’ which trains aspiring musicians and singers.
